Community Supported Apothecary
For decades, farmers have sustained themselves by offering monthly or seasonal shares of produce, meat, and finished products via a model known as community-supported agriculture (CSA). You get to know your farmer, gain a better sense of the shifting seasons, and have access to the freshest ethically-sourced good available.
Borrowing from that idea, we are offering a community-supported apothecary, which will help sustain our work while providing you with high-quality, handmade seasonal herbal products! Root Boxes are scheduled based on the solstices and equinoxes, and will be available for pick-up or delivery beginning 3/21, 6/21, 9/21, and 12/21. Each will contain a rotating selection of hand-crafted seasonal items.

These quarterly boxes will include items for 1 person, though you’re encouraged to share! Each will have at least (6) small-batch herbal goodies to help get through the season ahead.

AR Medicine Share
This fund will allow Altared Roots to provide services to community members who may otherwise not be able to afford them, while sustaining the worker and providing them the resources to acquire relevant tools and additional training. Funds may also be distributed as mutual aid to support communities in crisis.
